Ka-Zar and Tongah watch the approaching threat of an angry god, Damon, and do their best to protect Tongah's tribe, the Fall People. Elsewhere, a frightened girl runs to the home of Lord Kevin Plunder, Ka-Zar's alter ego, to warn him of danger.

Doctor Doom tortures an African into divulging what he knows about the source for the powerful metal Vibranium. He learns about the existence of Wakanda, and sets off there to plunder its supply of the valuable metal. The Black Panther is on hand to challenge him.
