"Born Again"
Triangle 1993-12. Continued from Adventures of Superman (1987) #500 and continues in Superman: The Man of Steel #22.
At the Fortress of Solitude the Eradicator is reborn, brought back by the Kryptonian maintenance robots that inhabit the Fortress. Damaged and confused from being incorporeal for so long, the Eradicator comes to believe he is now Superman. Cold and calculating, the new Superman has no compunctions about killing evil-doers.
In Metropolis Lois meets this new Superman and presses him for proof of who he is. His responses show her that somebody has either learned that Clark Kent was the Man of Steel or that she has only lost Clark a second time now.
This issue contains a centerfold "The Last Son of Krypton" poster of the Eradicator by Jackson Guice and Denis Rodier.
