"Evil is the... Earth-Shaker!"
The bullet-headed human rocket that is Nova zooms into 575 Madison Avenue, bristling with pride and joy upon hearing that Marvel Comics wants to publish an ongoing magazine about him.
Marv Wolfman and Sal Buscema are assigned the creative reins, and take Nova under their protective wings.
While Marv and Sal take background details and observe Nova's powers during a display in Central Park, the would-be conqueror of the surface world, Tyrannus decides to launch another opportunistic attack through a mechanical construct, the Earth-Shaker.
Nova puts down the subterranean uprising, but is soon crushed by Smilin' Stan's decision to nix the Nova comic, to pass him over for "Midas the Million Dollar Mouse". Well, those are the breaks. Who said being a Super-Hero idol was easy?
Featuring cameos from a host of Bullpen stalwarts.
