Captain America (1968) 127-A by Marvel
Item Bio
"Who Calls Me Traitor?"
Cap's long standing friendship with Nick Fury is sorely tested when details of a secret new S.H.I.E.L.D. combat suit are leaked to A.I.M.
Preposterous as it may seem, Cap is suspected of being a fake and a traitor. Even Sharon Carter, the woman he loves and who loves him, doubts him.
Fury, on the advice of resident scientist Doctor Ryder, concocts a plan to flush out whether the red, white and blue Avenger has a treacherous streak running through him.
With the added expertise of primary S.H.I.E.L.D. benefactor Tony Stark, Fury has an android built to test Steve's skills. During the trial, the android malfunctions, and the real turncoat is revealed.
Contains a fan letter from Bill Wray. Plus a couple of letters proffering explanations of Captain America appearances during the 1950s.
