Wolverine and Carol are caught and returned to the Citadel where the Genengineer faces his son Philip who's eyes are now wide open to what is really going on with the mutants of Genosha. But Wolverine and Carol are not going down easily as they resist the Magistrates while at the same time the X-Men start their assault inside the Citadel. Wolverine and Rogue are restored at the end of the battle as Phillip and his love, Jennifer are taken off Genosha where they will turn their efforts to ending the mutant slavery on the island by infrmming the rest of the world about the true Genosha.
