Kurt tries to sneak away on an unsanctioned mission to learn his origins. Meanwhile Professor Xavier tries to balance Polaris and Annie with an urgent matter with his step-brother Cain. Cain wants to go visit Sammy and after fighting over the family's "dirty laundry", Xavier allows him to go. After learning of Kurt's mission, Xavier dispatches the X-Men to see what he is up to and this mission takes them to the recently discovered island where mutants once lived, in the Barmuda Tiangle. They find Kurt and so much more.
