Item Bio
"Bride of the Conqueror" continues from Conan Annual #4.
King Conan of Aquilonia has been crushing the rebel forces of Count Drago. He is counseled, though, that to properly hold the throne, he needs a wife and heirs. The announcement of Conan's imminent marriage to Zenobia goes out. Count Drago is in league with the wizard Tsotha-Lanti, whose desire for revenge on Conan is great. Drago kidnaps Zenobia and replaces her with a doppelganger the night before the wedding. In their wedding bed, her true form is revealed as a demon assassin, while below in the dungeons, Tsotha-Lanti prepares to feed the real Zenobia to the pit gators.
