"The Light that Failed"

Master Mold is having a hard time fighting the X-Men thanks to Roma's cloak that she cast over the team. He must retreat and continue the assimilation of Nimrod as well as figure out how to combat the cloak, but the X-Men are not going to let him get away easily.

Upon completion of Master Mold's merge with Nimrod, he is able to rebuild himself as he takes the fight back to the X-Men who are no longer cloaked to his sensors. No matter what they do to Master Mold he keeps coming back and rebuilding himself until Dazzler uses the Siege Perilous crystal, given to the X-Men by Roma, to transport Master Mold away, but he takes Rogue with him. At the end of the battle, Senator Kelly's wife lay dying as Shaw uses this to his advantage to get Project Nimrod started. Meanwhile, Jubilee has free run of the Australian town the X-Men now call home as she ends up in Dazzler's place.
