I want to write comic books or maybe scripts for cartoons (not like spongebob) but like more serious type things like Fullmetal Alchemist or something, or come up with Prom dresses ideas for video games. I have no idea what field to go into. I have plenty of original ideas, just have no idea what college field I should go into. I can draw but would prefer not too, besides for rough sketches and stuff like that.

My advice is to go to a comic book convention and talk to the creative talent that goes to them. I know that the Chicago Comic-Con has tons of artists but also a lot of comic writers and even one of the animators from the Simpsons makes an appearance. Since you're in PA, maybe the Philly Comic-Con?

You HAVE to do the work.
I am guessing you are pretty young (pre-college).
I actually have some experience with career guidance, so you can PM me if you want some real solutions.
But, bottom line, you have to do the work. especially if comics is the field you want to go into. Comic writing and drawign is extremely competitive. If you really want to do one of those things, you need to enroll in classes, network at cons and other places, increase your personal portfolio...etc. etc. etc.
But if you really dont know WHAT you want to do in general, there are numerous programs you can complete to help narrow down your actual interests. Many of those programs are not too expensive, and many of them will also point you in the direction of secondary education programs that will help you reach your goals.
