Hey sellers, Canadian (toronto) customer here. I am looking for Harbinger#1 of the current (2012) series. I don't want to spend $15+ in shipping for one title, so if any of the sellers here can offer me something better in the way of shipping, please let me know.

I looked quickly and the cheapest store I saw was $14 w/shipping. Yuck.

Made some calls, looks like I can get a copy locally. I'll list it in my store, and my shipping rates to Canada are pretty cheap.

That's a bit of up-pricing, but not much considering the new USPS rates. It's $9 for one comic plus CCL's 5% fee for the shipping portion (but excluding adding any PayPal fees).

It's no longer cheap(-ish) to mail to Canada.

Just sent CosmicAvenger two comics, and it only cost $4.35. Package was flat enough to not be bumped to the parcel rate.

Although there are set standards, unfortunately it just depends on which employee you get.

Just wanted to share this. I sent one comic to a customer in Canada today and it cost me $8.55.

So last week, two comics cost $4.35 to send.

This week, one comic cost $8.55 to send.

I know it's all because of the classification between mail and parcel, but I'd also like some consistency. As long as it's in my favor, of course....Laughing

I got burned on this exact thing on "that other site". I had a customer that specifically requested 1st class international, and i didn't know that envelopes/packaging I use classified it as a parcel and not a large envelope. Customer paid what I thought would be the rate, and then when I went to the post office it cost me another $5 on top of the rate I quoted. It's a real pain in the @$$
