It's getting to be that time of year again, folks! Who's excited this year for the upcoming blockbusters? I am!

Which one are you looking most forward to?

There was also Ender's Game, Evil Dead, Riddick, Oblivion, Carrie, 300: Rise of an Empire, and After Earth I wanted to put on this poll. But there's only so many slots. It looks to be a dang good year for movies if you're a geek.

I forgot all about World War Z.

Probably because I'm not excited about it. The crazy fast zombies and walls of bodies forming seem a bit to unbelievable to me. And I'm frankly getting sick of zombies.

That's exactly why this should re-energize your zeal for zombies!

"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" is on the top of my list.

World War Z, The Wolverine, Gravity, Man of Steel and goes on...

Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness is #1 for me. Followed by Riddick, and then Iron Man 3.

I didn't think we'd ever get a sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick. I'm dang glad we are, because I want to see what he's gonna do with an army of Necromongers behind him.

From what I've seen, it looks like they're going back to the Pitch Black formula. Riddick vs killer monsters.

Oh man. I liked Pitch Black and all, but I thought Chronicles of Riddick was far better.

Please. Please. Please.

I do not often guarantee things, because taste is such a subjective thing.....but go out and read the book world War Z. Excellent. And, I am quite sure the movie will not do it justice. In fact, I bet the movie only bears a passing resemblance to the book......which doesnt mean it won't be good.

But, man, Get that book.

Also, Saw G.I. Joe a couple weeks ago with my son. Let me tell you, when a 14 year old boy doesnt like an action flick, you know it's bad.

Iron Man 3 tops my list for sure - followed closely by The Wolverine and Thor: The Dark World.

Also looking forward to a couple animated films this summer: Epic and Monsters University.

Honorable Mentions: GI Joe: Retaliation (even though the reviews haven't been that good) and Man of Steel (still having Superman Returns flashbacks).

I said Thor from the list, but I'm really excited for the Great Gatsby! That movie looks spectacular! And if the newest trailer doesn't get you excited, then I don't know what will.

I just watched District 9, and I think I should add Elysium to my list now.

Man of Steel just scrapes it for me. But can't wait for Star Trek, The Wolverine and Kick Ass 2....Jim Carrey is going to rock that movie! Can't put into words how much I love that guy.
