Since I am not really mobile it will be too hard on me to try and go to comic stores and pick up all 53 FCBD comics, I was wondering if one of the good sellers here might have all 53 for sale in a package deal.

These are not something I would normally collect but my son is starting to enjoy me reading him comics and I mostly get in old spiderman books and those arent for reading, lol. So figure this will give me something to read to him and maybe a future title to collect if he enjoys it.

So if you have all 53 or are getting all 53 please feel free to message me and would greatly appreciate it, but not going to pay out the kazzoo for them either :) since they are free, lol

Thanks to the following sellers for helping me put together my complete run of Amazing Spider-man #1-700

ComicCastle
TreeHouse
Hall Of Heroes
Thundercron's Longbox
DrumCzar

Now for the sellers helping me finish my TMNT collection:

Hall Of Heroes
Green Bay Comics

First, I don't have them to sell but I want to clear up a misunderstanding. FCBD books are not free to the retailer. We are charged a cost price of about $.25 to $.30 per book and postage from Diamond to our location. In my case I was charged $58.85 in UPS fees on the 700+ copies I ordered. I offer these to my reservists at cost + 5%. The 5% works out to about $.01 per book which means I lost over $50.00 on the entire deal, but it is something I do as a service to them.

Next year if you or someone else would like to order FCBD books at cost +5% let me know when they are first offered on the order form (around January) and I'll be glad to order them for you.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.
Comics Castle-owned & operated by Pat McCauslin
Alpha Comics--ComicVortex--Metropolis Connections 2.0--Comic Cellar

I'll echo all of that. It was an unpleasant surprise to be hit with a $60 bill for shipping on the "free" books. The .25-.30 per copy is somewhat manageable but shipping just kill the incentive. As I told my rep, I'll definitely be reconsidering FCBD next year...

Wow. I can't even imagine how much it cost in shipping for the 10,000 books my LCS got.

Yup, I actually bought my fcbd books through Pat this year, first time I paid for them, but ultimately better, can enjoy fcbd festivities without any concern of not getting the ones I want...great deal for me.

I know they are not "Free" but also not goign to get hosed. I could buy all 53 on ebay but would pay $2 an issue plus shipping which just doesnt work for me.

I would happily pay the cost of the book plus shipping, just not looking to pay a super premium.

Thanks though :)

I listed pretty close to all of them. I also have ones that aren't in the DB yet; Action Time Buddies, Ugly Doll COmics, 2000 AD, Overstreet's Comic Book Market Place, and Bleeding Cool.

Here is a direct link to my FCBD shelf.
