I have been trying to log my copies of the Lookouts comic book published by Cryptozoic Entertainment, but I have not yet seen it show up in any update for CCL.

If you've got the book, you can always add them to the database...

As Tamwood suggested, all users are able to add books to the Database. The database is entirely populated by users like you and I who volunteer to add books. If you'd like to learn how to do so, I'd be happy to work with you. If not, I can try to get the book added for you, but I'll need a little info. Most specifically, I'll need to know what the indicia of the book says and when the first issue came out.

I would love to know how to do this. If you can provide me some instructions about how I can do that, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

The first thing you should do is spend a little time familiarizing yourself with the Change Request Guidelines, which will answer a lot of your questions. It's a big document, and not always user friendly, but it's pretty comprehensive.

After that, you need to submit a Change Request (CR) for a New Title. To do so, click on the link for the CCL Library. You'll see the title search about in the middle of your screen. Just beneath and to the right you'll find a green "plus" icon that will let you add a missing title. Then...
- Fill out the title (needs to match what's in the book's indcia, which may be different from the book cover)
- Choose the type (it faults to Comic Book)
- Add the publisher
- Fill out the caption (the caption format should be "Cryptozoic Entertainment" followed by the first year of publication followed by "- Current" if the series is ongoing or followed by "- last year of publication and then (number of issues) if the series has completed. The CR Guidelines will give you examples of what this looks like.)

After your title is submitted, it'll need to be looked over and then approved by one of the Approvers. We may have a question or two about it, so check back if doesn't get approved in about a day to see if anyone has left comments. After it's approved, you can begin adding issues. I'll walk you through that when we get there. Let me know if you have any questions or difficulty.

Thank you again for the information. I will review that document and submit my request to get the title added. If I run into any questions, I'll be sure to post them here.

Sounds good. Looking forward to working with you to get these books added. The Change Request system can be a little confusing at first, but if you keep at it, it'll become a breeze in no time!
