Check out this weird Betty & Me #7 that I got from a German lady at a yard sale. It is the regular comic, English language (it says in the indica "Published by Close-Up, don't know if that's normal) but it is wrapped with a stiff brown paper and bound together with string. Even odder are the two separate store stamps that marked in different places in the book.

One says:
New Empire Book Stall
46, Gowalla Tank Road, Bombay (either 24 or 26)

and the other:
India Book House
22; Bhulabhai Desai Road,
Bombay - 26

Obviously it's from India but what could be the story behind it.

Here are the pics!

Well looks like a betty and me #7 someone rebound.

My guess is it was rebound for protection for a library or public reader book (ie coffee house or something)

Thanks to the following sellers for helping me put together my complete run of Amazing Spider-man #1-700

Hall Of Heroes
Thundercron's Longbox

Now for the sellers helping me finish my TMNT collection:

Hall Of Heroes
Green Bay Comics

Hah, interesting find. Funny that the store stamp is in English, I bet the store was at/near a military base of some sort. If you come across the German lady again you can ask if her husband was stationed there.
