Besides getting comics that came out this week. I got Green Lantern #19-21 third run, Xmen #98 first run and Batman Incorporated #8 Death of Damian. The Xmen #98 was very fine. Paid $20. Overall, a good week.

$20 for a VF X-Men #98? Nicely done! That's the Christmas issue with all the crazy background cameos with Lois and Clark, Matt Murdock, Peter Parker, a bunch of creators, etc....

Haha...damn kingsman...you sure you aren't getting the "5 finger" discount? I honestly can't believe you would find all these hard to find variants for a buck. Yes, I'm just jealous...some of these go for min 10 and even that's a great deal. You gotta take some pics of these finds for me, especially the deadpool ones since deadpool is hot right now. Did I say I was jealous?? Should open up your own store if you keep finding these deals and never work again...lucky bastard! Crying

What is interesting . . . the store that I find most of these types of variants at also deals in Magic cards. Since expanding into this frontier, more and more of their business has turned to gaming cards and accessories. When I visit there on the weekends, often times I am the ONLY person there looking through the comic shelves, while the rest of the place is filled with gamers. My guess is that the store owner just wants to unload all comic book back stock from time to time.

You could do a fine business by taking requests from those of us without such comic shops around us. LOL. I'd LOVE to get some (ok, all) of the recent Manara variants, and a couple of the 1:100 variants from AvX, but they're not to be found around here, and I'm not dropping $50+ for one on eBay. LOL.
