I'm taking a small break from my Hulk run after a couple of weeks of binge buying. I do that once in awhile so I don't get burned out on whatever I'm collecting. Now I find myself browsing through CCL and looking at variant covers of various books I follow. I stated not long ago that I wasn't into variants. But some of them are so damn cool to look at. Someone please slap me and stop the madness.

Well, if you want to be a true Hulk completest, you're going to have to start buying the variants at some point, so why not now?

...and of course, for each issue that was published in both newsstand and direct-sales versions, you've GOT to be sure and collect both versions!

While you are taking a break whatever you do - Don't start focusing on collecting any other cool characters. Such as Iron Man, Flash, Spider-Man, Black Canary, Black Panther, Supergirl, the Avengers, Hourman, Justice League, Nova, Doom Patrol, Sub-Mariner, Aquaman, Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, New Warriors, etc.

And while you're at it please don't throw me in that briar patch!Clown
Quality. Consistency. Variety. Reliable. Fair. Friendly

Dont do it, take that money and put it in a Jar labeled Hulk #181. You and your collection would be much happier with a #181 then some variant.

I feel you brother, those comics always get you with impulse buying. At first you're all like, "I just want to read this one storyline." Then one story leads to another, which connects to this former story, and is crossed over into this title, which you then get into, and on, and on. It's really an addiction.
Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

Haha thanks guys. Most of you weren't much help. Bunch of enablers. Laughing

And Moonknight1 it's too late I already started other cool characters a long time ago. Hawkman and Action Comics are my other "main" focus'. Also working on runs of Captain America, Thor, Flash, Wonder Woman, Justice Society Of America, Power Girl and New Warriors. I'm sure I forgot some. Come to think of it it's been almost two years since I picked up any Wonder Woman books besides the New 52 run. Hmmmmmm........nope, nope gotta save my pennies for Hulk. Damn this comic addiction At Wits' End
