*SPOILERS BELOW* (nothing too revealing)

the good: the special effects were pretty creepy; the final exorcism sequence was very intense and well done (with just the tiniest bit of cheese on top)

the bad: nothing original here; the build-up was painfully slow, and it didn't help that it's set in the 70's, so the actors came across as trying too hard for that 'feel'; the story's overall explanation got lost a little along the way, and it didn't help that (i must re-iterate) there's absolutely nothing here that you haven't already seen or heard or read before. save it for dvd if you must see it.

I heard it was the best possession movie since The Exorcist. But I will wait for blu.

I've heard it was pretty good.

I really liked the Emily Rose movie as well.

Finally saw it tonight, and I loved it! Decently scary, with plenty of suspense. Also, Night Owl!
