Visited one of our local, Columbus comic book stores late last week and snagged the following books . . .

Avenging Spider-man #12 (NM) $4.25
Batman #489 & #490 (1940, NM) $1.00 each
Conan the King #55 (1989, Final issue, VF+) $1.00
Prophet #23 (1993, NM) $3.25
Smallville Season 11 #1 (NM) $4.25
Superfriends #28 & #31 (1976, VF+) $1.00 each
Superman: The Dark Side #1 & #2 (NM) $1.00 each
Superman #675 (1939, 1:10 variant, NM) $1.00

. . . and the gem I located in the dollar bin (and yes, I could have cried):

G.I.Joe: Real American Hero #155 (1982, Original "final" issue, VF+) $1.00

I picked up some more Batman: Knightfall/Knightquest/Knightsend related stuff.

Dang, getting all the Knightfall/Knightquest/Knightsend issues and everything connected to it is a much bigger undertaking than I thought. There's soooo much.

I still need a few random Az-Bat issues, and Batman: Vengeance of Bane I & II.

Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

You always find great stuff at fantastic prices. I'm a little envious of that G.I. Joe and I need to find those two Batman issues.

My favorite thing to do is go to a yard sale, comic convention or comic book store and spend hours (literally) rummaging through the bargain bins. Not only are there financial treasures to be found, but some terrific pieces of art and interesting storylines. When I locate stuff like this, it makes the hunt that much more fun and worthwhile!

Picked up The Demon 43 (Ennis) and Darkwing Duck (1991) 2.

I just need Disney Afternoon 7 now and I've tried contacting the person that has the one on EBay several times with no luck so I'm passing on that one. Anyone seen or have one available? I have Paypal funds.

Looks like this...

I did some digging once on those Marvel Disney books. I never realized that they came out with several Disney titles. They must all have print runs of next to nothing.
