Went to another comic store in town with a friend. Got some stuff I've been looking for.

Swamp Thing #18
Avenging Spider-Man #18
X-Men(1991) #47
Amazing Spider-Man #695
Daredevil(1998) #35, #36
Frankenstein, Agent of SHADE #9, #13

And finally found this in a store

Avengers #500. I've been wanting to read this for a while now.

Good read, but you'll need the next few issues, too.

From a recent collection I picked up, at first glance a taped up coverless comic is a piece of junk, then you realize it's Hulk #5. Might have to sit down & read this one tonight. Fortunately the rest of the collection was in nicer shape, I may slap a few more on the scanner over the weekend.

Ok here's a couple good ones, staying with the Hulk theme. The 25 will be up for sale eventually, the 112 I may hang on to.

Couple more cool ones from the same collection, I'd never personally seen a copy of that Sgt Fury so I was pretty pumped for that one. Does anyone on CCL collect Sgt Fury? I've got some I could list here, issues 3-70 roughly.

Couple more cool ones, the Strange Tales isn't in the best shape but it's the first Nick Fury. @supersoldier - I have more pics & info about the collection in my sellers corner post, it's just a local collection I've been working on for about 4 years, long time customers have heard me talk about it repeatedly. The owner & I both had Overstreets & knew what stuff was worth, just a matter of coming to a deal we were both happy with. I'll keep a few but most will eventually be sold.

I just picked up Chew #2-19 and Walking Dead #9-112. The latter is missing about half dozen issues (including 1st app. Michonne Sad ), but there were also quite a few duplicates, which somewhat lessened the pain. The set was fairly expensive, but I got a pretty good deal. For the most part, they were taken care of really well, too! Almost all of them are VF/NM-NM.
