Comics are a visual medium-no doubt about it. It's hard to sell comics with bad art.

Who, in your opinion is underrated? For me, it would be Rich Buckler. He has drawn just about every DC and Marvel character, whether on a cover or interiors. I always liked his understated style and I can never remember him being one of the "stars" of the medium.

By the way, look at his website, he does fine art pieces, too.

For me I'm a huge fan of Todd Nauck.

Curt Swan. His figures were so elegant, and his facial expressions were the best of his generation.

And he always remembered that storytelling was part of the job.

Buckler was solid, no doubt. My Mount Rushmore of artists is...Gene Colan, Jack Kirby, John Romita Sr., & Big John Buscema.

Swan definitely overlooked. I'm a fan of Gray Morrow.

Jerry Ordway, for me. He was fantastic on All-Star Squadron, Infinity Inc., Adventures of Superman, and ESPECIALLY on Power of Shazam!
