I already mentioned I hated the look on the CCL Facebook page.

I think this should be a new character. Lobo is supposed to be a drinking, brawling, foul-mouthed, bad-ass biker. This guy looks to be none of those things.

I did like the article accompanying it, though.

What's strange is that Lobo has already appeared in the New 52 - first in Deathstroke, and currently in StormWatch. In face, in recent issues of StormWatch they've even given his origin.

Well, they've already screwed continuity in the New 52 pretty good by already rebooting StormWatch and severing its connection to Demon Knights, essentially abandoning all story lines having to do with the Daemonites or Gifter or pretty much any Wildstorm character, and introducing 2 different Cheshire characters. Took less than 2 years for continuity to begin to unravel.

sad to say, but "continuity" is a dirty word in the comics business these days...

Crisis was the best and worst thing to ever happen to DC

Funny, on CCL's Facebook page I seemed to be the only one that disliked it.

Le sigh...the only way for them to make me interested is if he just out right starts ripping peoples heads off and uses them as cosmic bowling balls.

That pretty much sums up my attitude concerning DC's "New 52". My advice to people not happy with the direction the company's taking as a whole, would be to stop buying this crap. You'll get your real DC Universe back..... eventually.

Define "real DC Universe". I've been waiting almost 30 years and it still hasn't come back.Laughing
