Well my Amazing Spiderman man has been going very slowly to say the least. So had to start picking up some graphic novels or would go crazy not being able to buy anything.

So snagged
The Tick Complete Works #1 and #2
Spiderman saga of the sandman
JSA return of hawkman
Ultimate Elektra
The Goon #1-4
Savage Dragon
Darkblade book 1
Xforce young blood
Wolverine#1
Thundercats
LOBO #1 and #2

Plus snagged these 4 hardbacks for $10

Oh and the complete set of Sin City for $50

For spidey got more of those horrible store variants, almost done, cant wait

These 2 beauties from Crossbowcomics

The best deal I have made recently was trading a ASm #640 CGC 9.6 SS signed by Cambell for this unsigned issue Whew!

And last but not least my ASM #1 Dallas Comic Con variant.

oh and yes I know it is still in its damn case, lol. I am so torn on this issue, I have been hunting for a year for an unsigned issue and havent seen one so bought this one cheap. I just dont know if I want to crack it since it will still have that ugly signature on it. Figure will give it month or two and if cant find unsigned issue will just crack and be done with it Big Grin

Awesome! Applause

Probably at a great price, too, knowing Blue Moon Comics.

I visited the local book store and was able to pick up a few things at 1/2 off original cover price:
Gambit 21, 23
Green Lantern 50 (1st Kyle Raynor as Green Lantern)
Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day 1, 3

The owner also gave me an admission ticket to the October MN FallCon comic show.

A new comic store opened in a mall in the next city north and I picked up a few books there for $1 each:
Detective Comics 686
Spectre (Ostrander series) 14
Marvel Comics Presents 171 (Force Works, been looking for a cheap copy of this for a long time)

I just bought the mini-series spin-offs from House of M here on CCL:

-Fantastic Four: House of M
-Iron Man: House of M
-Spider-Man: House of M

And I picked up Realm of Kings #1.

I can't seem to find the Inhumans and Imperial Guard spin-off mini-series from Realm Kings all together in a CCL shop for a decent price, though. Sad

Well the hunt goes slower and slower as books become more expensive. Rain

Managed to snag a few books recently off that auction site and here though. Here are a few silver age spideys just bagged up for collection.

4 former CGC books waiting for me to find my razor so can add to collection.

And these 2 ubber rare money sucking variants.

Now I just need to update my sig and find more money to finish this collection off.

Thanks to these message boards I picked up on some places to visit on my cross country trek. Spent 2 days in Ohio shopping, wouldn't call it a gold mine but it was worth a visit anyway, I'll post some notes on some stores once I get home. So far my coolest pickup was a Special Marvel Edition 15 (first Shang-Chi) in 5.0 in a dollar box, figured for sure it was incomplete but I lucked out. Only place I really hit paydirt was a place called Doomsday Clock in Tulsa, guy was closing out his store & struck a bulk deal for about 5 longboxes, will give me a bunch of fresh material for the store. Hoping to stop by the CCL offices around the 2nd or 3rd, make my way home from there. Will have my work cut out for me, heard my internet is fried from a lightning strike & my driveway is washed out. Oh well, will at least feel nice to sleep in my own bed again. Back soon -

Yea my buying has severely slowed down as well, I miss having 4-5 packages a day come in, now I am lucky if I get 5 a week. And it is only going to get slower since I fund all my buys on what I can make off ebay and been slow lately.

But thanks :), Like you I love reading these posts and wish I could branch out from Spidey. I would love to have a complete Cerebus, TMNT and Tick collection as well.
