Z-INVALID means that the entry is invalid. Either the issue doesn't exist or it's listed somewhere else in the database. In the latter case, the entry should include a pointer to the valid issue.

Unfortunately, the pointer can only be seen on the website (where it's a bit difficult to get to invalid issues).

Anything specific you're looking at/for that we can help you with?

Thanks guys. I'd just been noticing a few for some issues in my collection.
Two examples are Tom & Jerry #303, and Tom & Jerry #297 (B-Whitman cover). When I added the title I only that came up on the search was Tom & Jerry Comics, though the indicia listed differently. The correct covers were there, so I entered them in those spots, even though there Z-INVALIDS. One day, I searched Tom AND Jerry, and lo and behold they were there. I guess I switched the word 'and' with the ampersand, so I now know of Tom and Jerry, and also Tom & Jerry Comics. Weird. Thanks for responding though. Wouldn't have known to look otherwise :)

I have a question: Should these invalid issues be deleted from the database? I know that many of these issues some stores have in their inventories, but should we PM somebody if we notice an invalid issue with none for sale so that it can be deleted, or are they intentionally kept in the database in case somebody is looking for it and isn't aware of its indicia as listed in CCL?

There's currently no way TO delete these invalid issues from the database. That's one of those mythical things that's supposed to be fixed in a future "update."
