Yesterday I read World War Hulk: Frontline, Incredible Hulk #272-275.
Tonight I'm just sitting down to read Man Of Steel 1-6.

Bad place to start. I didn't care for the newest ongoing at all. The previous series written by Daniel Way was a lot better. IMO.

Read the JSA trade Savage Times today. Which cover issues 39-45 of the series. I'm loving this series a lot. And never was a JSA fan when I was younger. And now am sitting down to read the JSA/JLA crossover The Lightning Saga. I'm on a DC team book kick lately.

Pretty much everything up to "Black Reign" (around JSA #60) in that series was AAA super-hero stuff. Geoff Johns at his best!

Stuck on 2 weeks of post-op bed rest - the pain meds make it a little hard to focus sometimes, but I just finished The Dark Knight Returns and The Dark Knight Strikes Again TPBs.
The first was FAR better than the second in so many ways.
Next up is Empowered Volume. 2, then the two Superman Earth One HCs, then Empowered Volume. 3.

Just tried to finish Howard Chaykins version of the Shadow.
Was Howard doing some really far out drugs ?
Did DC get the pages wayyyyy out of order ?
Am I monosyllabic to the extreme, or wha ??
Little or nothing made sense, even after a second reading.
No wonder Chaykin never caught on with a main stream title.
Yeah, like the independance, uh-huh.
How about a 4 turd rating...

Just finished reading the Harris Comics run of Vampirella.
From 1991's Vampirella: Morning in America to #22 of the last ongoing Vampirella series they published in 2001.
The ultimate in vampire comics in my humble opinion.
Now reading through Christian Gossett's "The Red Star" comics again.
Such an amazing series(or 3 mini series to be precise)

Just load up on those pain meds, it'll probably make the art (and everything else) in DK2 seem so much better.

Currently reading:
Whiteout - Rucka slams it out of the park again.
Cape 1969 - I thoroughly enjoyed The Cape, but this prequel is lacking, IMO.
Getting ready to start Mind MGMT.
