Guess who just got the Kirby Dream Collection: Special Edition (with collector's booklet and soundtrack) for only $7.99 brand-new?

This guy did.

Best Buy is selling them for $7.99 right now (normally $39.99). Unfortunately, they were sold-out. But Target price matches! Went through 3 different managers and an IPad look-up to confirm it, but I got it!

Just picked these up from GameStop today:

I've been looking forward to playing both of these games for quite a while!

Been looking to pick of Halo Anniversary for a while. I can't wait to play through it again especially in this updated version.

It pretty much feels like the original Halo. But there are enough graphical enhancements and small changes here or there that it warrants a playthrough.

So far, they've done a great job at it. But I've only gotten through the first Pillar of Autumn level, then the following level where you search for suvivors from the wreckage (the wife went to bed early because of work today, and my man-cave is right next to the bedroom).

Eeeewww....though it's not ideal, that's why I bought a headset with an extra long reach.

So I've been focusing a lot more on video games and a lot less on comic books (but still haven't stopped collecting comics) since this thread started a couple years ago.

I think except for a few additions here and there (because I never really stop collecting), my collecting focus is shifting from video games. I'm a lot more into metal right now, so I've been more on the look-out for CDs than I have anything else. So I thought it would be a good time to post a full collection post of my video game collection if anyone was curious.

I've always been a big classic gamer, so most of collection is a lot more focused on that area than it is on the current-generation gaming stuff.

I've always been a big Nintendo fan, too. So I have most of the Nintendo stuff covered. But the biggest chunk of my collection is Playstation 1 & 2 stuff just because I took advantange of sales when stores started clearing those out at bargain prices.

That's an extremely impressive collection BurningDoom!

I hopped in this thread wondering if anyone uses Steam often? If you have a decent PC you should check it out, tons of games at great prices for digital download. The sales are fantastic when they come.

I'll post a screenshot of my small collection later. If anyone uses Steam and wishes to add me so we can play sometime, add KnifeTricks.

Is that all you got? And here I thought you were a serious gamer!Laughing

Fantastic News! Hall of Heroes has now surpassed 600 Hero Ratings! I couldn't have done it without all of you and I will strive to maintain and improve my high standards. Which brings me to my next announcement - starting now, all shipments will come with tracking at no extra charge to you! I'm a little late to the party but as they say - better late than never. You spoke and I heard you loud and clear. Excelsior!

I loved those games! I've only played Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale but was thoroughly hooked. My favorite aspect is the fact that you can pause play and give individual orders to your party. Some of those battles got really fierce and without the ability to flee some of my wounded warriors and cast a healing spell or drink a potion before re-entering the fray I never would have gotten as far as I did.

If you like those, you REALLY need to play the Neverwinter Nights games. It's everything great about the above mentioned games, but made better. Better graphics, better sound effects, bigger world, more quests, more NPCs to interact with, more classes, etc.

Getting towards the end of Golden Sun: The Lost Age (pretty sure I am, at least, I'm in the Western Sea), playing it on the Game Boy Player on my GameCube. And I'm loving it! Even better than the first game, and longer. I love the mixture of JRPG elements and Zelda-like puzzles. And despite the story admittedly not really being that deep or interesting, there's just something likable about the world and the characters.

I went ahead and ordered Golden Sun: Dark Dawn of DS off of eBay, it's on it's way!

Bought EDF 2017 and Deadspace from Gamestop the other day. Plus the new Tomb Raider from Amazon!

Tomb Raider is one of the best games I've played in a while. Deadspace is fantastic as well.

I'm going to have to look into this...

Thanks Nate!

I just got Bionic Commando for XBox 360, complete, for under $5 on Half.com!

I've played it before and had a blast, and I've always been a big fan of Capcom's Bionic Commando series, and I'm a big fan of Capcom in general. So it's a real nice addition to the collection for me, and for dirt cheap at that!

If I'm not mistaking, I now own the entire Bionic Commando series (not counting the original arcade cabinet). Let me know if there's any out there I'm missing and don't know about:

-Bionic Commando (NES)
-Bionic Commando (Game Boy)
-Bionic Commando (XBox 360)
-Bionic Commando: Elite Force (Game Boy Color)
-Bionic Commando: Rearmed 1 & 2 (XBox Live Arcade)
-Capcom Classic Collection Vol. 1 (XBox) - Arcade version of BC
-Capcom Classics Mini Mix (GBA) - NES version of BC

Any I'm missing?

Just got 2 essential GameCube games:

I almost have my own personal complete GameCube collection, so close! These are all I have left on my GameCube wishlist:

-Action Replay
-F-Zero GX
-Skies of Arcadia (I'd be fine with a Dreamcast copy, though)
-Soul Calibur II
-Tales of Symphonia
-WWE: Day of Reckoning 2

With the re-acquisition of this game (I traded it away, before), I am now official only 1 game away from my complete U.S. Neo Geo Pocket Color collection (my want list, not going for a complete set). The U.S. library really isn't all that large, so it's not a hard feat to accomplish.

Here's what I have now:

1. Bust-A-Move Pocket
2. Dark Arms: Beast Buster
3. Fatal Fury: First Contact
4. King of Fighters: R-2
5. Metal Slug: 1st Mission
6. Metal Slug: 2nd Mission
7. Pac-Man
8. Samurai Shodown II: Pocket Fighting Series
9. SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium
10. Sonic Pocket Adventure

So now, all I need that I still want is Shanghai Mini (which is basically just mahjong, so no rush when it normally goes for $20 at the cheapest. I can wait for a cheaper copy to come along).

I really wish the NGPC had a larger library since it's likely the only Neo Geo system I'll ever own (the others are too pricey to collect for), and it really is a solid little handheld.

I also picked these two guys up cheap at Goodwill, and complete:

Sometimes I don't come out with crap. Other times there's more there that I want than I can afford. It's really hit-or-miss.
