Anyone remember Darkstars? Back then I was a big fan. Still am. At one time they even rivaled the Green Lantern Corps in strength. Ferren Colos was a badarse. They even had Donna Troy and John Stewart don the Darkstar uniforms. With the popularity of Green Lantern and all the spin-off issues. Hopefully they bring them back. Darkstars #1 is a cheap buy too. Can be found in the dollar boxes in most comic book shops.

I bought it as it came out. It was my first exposure to the fantastic Travis Charest.

Funny side note. Tried to google Ferren Colos from memory. I typed Ferres Colon instead. Ended up getting sites for proctologists. Crying

It was unnecessary, really. They were just cheap knock-offs of the GLC, which was already around, and there was also L.E.G.I.O.N. running around the DC cosmos policing it at the same time.

Heck, even making Donna Troy and John Stewart Darkstars was unnecessary. They already had established identities elsewhere.

Maybe if it was just one guy that was a Darkstar, it might have worked better.

Burning Doom. Your hate on Darkstars is making me sad. We can agree to disagree except you did make some good points. Donna Troy and John Stewart were a stretch to garner interest. It might of been unnecessary but it happened. Bringing back just Ferrin Colos would be fine with me. With an already established history. Being the last Darkstar left would be cool.

Travis Charest's covers were fantastic!
