Is this for real? I've been a cautious supporter of Affleck as Batman, but now I'm starting to worry. I really think Batman and Supes need one full movie to breathe, without having us be distracted by a slew of other heroes they want to shove in there to meet some JLA movie date.

I'm sorry, but both candidates for Wonder Woman are WAY too damned skinny.
WW is a freakin' Amazon. She's built. Not a twig.
They should get the chick who played Ellie on Chuck - Sarah Lancaster. She's tall, she actually has womanly curves, and she looks like Wonder Woman.

She's 5'8" while Jamie Alexander is 5'9", has a very regal look to her and is drop dead gorgeous. She would be my pick.

The role of Wonder Woman for Batman vs Superman has apparently been cast. The winner is Gal Gadot from the Fast & Furious franchise.

Beautiful? Check.
Tall? No... (for a woman, yes, but Wonder Woman tall? NO).
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

She's smoking hot, but at 5'9" and thin/petite she isn't my idea of Wonder Woman. I think closer to 6' and stacked like Linda Carter was. Now having said that I looked her up and see Carter was also 5'9", but she was certainly more stacked.

I agree with most sentiments here. Her shortness can be overcome with platform shoes in her closeups with other actors (the same way it was overcome with Michael Keaton to make him look taller than Jack Nicholson), but everything else is all wrong.
Warner Brothers is so blind with dollar signs right now. They are so desperate to catch up with what the Marvel films are doing that they are getting very sloppy. This Batman vs. Superman film is going to be a train wreck.

This movie is probably going to be terrible. DC is rushing towards the JLA movie, instead of taking it one step at a time like Marvel did. Having Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Nightwing in one movie is going to be too much. Might as well already call it Justice League.
I could be wrong, but I foresee this being a bad, rushed movie.

yup yup yup...
maybe they can do like they did in Judge Dredd for Stallone and just cast all the other roles with short people.
As for her other, um... proportions - there's a lot that can be done these days with falsies to make her look more endowed.
They're definitely trying to make this movie into too much too fast. Marvel already had 5 movies out to build up to Avengers... this is just going to sour people on things for DC.

I second that. A way better choice.
