"Diamond Back" by Shocore, into "I Saw Red" by Warrant.
Two very under-rated bands.

I do love my 80s hair metal bands. But Warrant is not one of my favorites. They sounded more poppy than the other bands.

Some of my favorites from that sub-genre:
-Cinderella
-Def Leppard
-Dio
-Motley Crue
-Ozzy Osbourne (solo sounded like hair metal, not counting the Black Sabbath years here)
-Quiet Riot
-Ratt
-W.A.S.P. (SOOOOO underrated. "Crimson Idol" is an absolute masterpiece of a concept album)

And some others from that era that aren't quite hair metal that I love:
-AC/DC
-Guns 'N Roses
-Iron Maiden
-Megadeth
-Metallica

Got all of those on heavy rotation with my walkman.

"Bait & Switch" live by KMFDM, going into "Eatin' Ain't Cheatin'" by Steel Panther.

Forgot to mention Testament. A very underrated thrash-band from that era that gets overshadowed by Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer.

Cherry Pie? yeah, pop crap.
Check out their Dog Eat Dog album - heavy, hard, and dark with some of the most amazing guitar work I've ever heard.
Ultraphobic was a pretty wicked album too.

I liked the single "Never Enough". Listened to a little more, can't say they're gonna be a favorite, though.

I'm enjoying the accompanying symphony a lot more than I did when I was in high school when it first came out. It adds this level of gradiose to a lot of the songs (some of the songs, though, it just slowed down and made worse).

On a Scorpions kick. I finished this album:

Which then led me to listen to this one, which I'm listening to right now:

They are seriously one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Nightwish - High Hopes

Fantastic cover of a fantastic Pink Floyd song by a fantastic band. Instead of Tarja singing, this one is sung by Marco. He has a great voice, I wish he'd do a little more vocals in the band than he does.
