Don't feel too bad, my wife insisted on helping me bag and board some older books that needed to be re-bagged. She happened to take my hulk 181 and accidently ripped the cover.

My wife no longer helps be bag my comics.
She also almost got me banned from a lcs for complaining. LOL

Good thing I have a sense of humor.

I still get ridiculed for wearing cotton gloves to read my books.

I can relate. I got an original Pong system (I'm a video game collector) for cheap because they had it listed wrong on eBay. When it got here, it was in great condition. Being that it's Pong, I needed 2-players to test it. So I asked my wife to come in and test it with me. Now there's only a knob on the controller to control your "paddle", and red button to serve the ball (or square, lol). My wife was serving, so she presses the button and I hear "CRACK!" She broke the controller on the first testing.

I don't let the gf touch my comics. I see how she takes care of her stuff..and as she is a calamity walking..she can stay away from my comics.

I don't trust myself with my comics so my wife is definitely not touching my books. She is cool with it though. There is stuff that she has that she doesn't let me touch. Which is fine with me.

(referring to an original comic book piece) This is a art gallery my friend and THIS is a piece of art.

Elijah Price "Unbreakable"
played by Samuel L. Jackson

So very true. My wife wants me to help around the house (cleaning, laundry, dishes...) and when I do them, she has to comment on it.
"The clothes aren't folded"
"The clothes aren't put away"
"There's a dish in the sink"

My wife went back home to Portugal a few times over the time. She was gone for 2 plus weeks. Imagine the comments she gave me when she came back home. Laughing
