It's that time of the year when the countries of the world who have a colder climate (plus Jamaica) get together and find out who is best at competing in frigid temperatures in sports that few have heard of.

It's a clash of nations and only the best are invited!

Are you going to watch any of this and, if so, what will attract your attention?

Hockey

The most recognizable winter sport

Figure Skating

Well, duh.

Speed Skating

Fast, fast, fast!

Ski Events

Speed, jumping and slaloms - yeah!

Bobsled/Luge/Skeleton

Downhill, very fast, not too protected.

Curling

Ice Sweeping. Enough said.

Snowboarding

Newfangled invention. Pretty cool.

Biathlon

Ski down a hill and then shoot some stuff. How can you not like this?

I won't say that I have the most of this or that but I will say that I offer a diverse selection of comics from the earliest days of publishing right up until the most recent releases. In addition to the Big 2 (Marvel and DC) hundreds of smaller publishers are represented in my Inventory. Browse through my Store Shelves to find hidden gems that you may have forgotten about. Scans provided upon request and I have an "Open Door" communication policy. Thank you all for your continued support!

I didn't vote because you didn't have an option for everything. I don't watch basketball or hockey so for me there is a gap between football and baseball. The Olympics fill it very nicely and with my wife being from China it gives us a chance to have a friendly rivalry.

The following stores are all stores that I've dealt with or have become friends with through the forums and I highly recommend them all.
Comics Castle-owned & operated by Pat McCauslin
Alpha Comics--ComicVortex--Comic Cellar--Hall of Heroes--Swifty's Olde Tyme Comic Shoppe

Hockey for me of course.

USA, USA

Though I want Predators Shea Weber (Canada), and Roman Josi and Simon Moser (Switzerland) to do well.

Have to agree, will be cheering for both Canada and Switzerland unless they are up against the USA.

On original subject, I pretty much watch all the events during the winter Olympics. My favorites being hockey, figure skating, and bobsledding, though curling and snowboarding caught my interest 4 years ago.

So, I have to give Canada props for sweeping Hockey Gold.

Wasn't too surprised that the Men's team beat the US but that Women's final was a tough loss to take. Congratulations to the Canadian Women for their grittiness and will to win.

If only...

An inch to the right and this would be a different story.

Also a shout out to the home of my ancestors: Norway. They finished with 26 medals including 11 Gold's.Applause
