Wanted to point this one out.

In the CCL Software this issue is listed under "Green Lantern (2011) #28", and no entry for Red Lanterns #28 at all.

The indicia on the comic itself reads: "Green Lantern/Red Lanterns 28".

I had thought we went with the indicia title. This could get confusing for people.

Yeah, we had a pretty lengthy discussion about this. It got added to GL because that's the title that came first in the indicia. Flip books are a pain in the butt.

I think it should be listed as both.

Unfortunately, we aren't in the position to do that. One or the other would have to be marked as Invalid if it were listed in both series since we don't allow duplicate books in the database.

I thought it would work best as a separate one-shot, listed as the indicia reads.

You're not alone. Several of the Approvers felt that way also, but that is not the way things worked out.

Maybe at least make a note in the Red Lanterns title, so it doesn't look incomplete.

Not Just DC, Marvel Has flip books and Both titles are listed under their own: example "the Shroud #1 1994" and "Spectacular Spider-Man #208 1994 "

Shroud #1 is a flip of Spectacular Spider-Man #208? If so, one of those will have to be invalidated. Thanks. Looks like we missed that one.

Is it just #1 that's a flipbook or the whole Shroud mini-series?

I can't find any information that confirms this, and I have both issues at home and I definitely don't recall these being flipbooks.

Spec Spider-Man 208 has a cover date of Jan 1994 and a price of $1.25 and Shroud #1 has a cover date of Mar 1994 and price of $1.75. Was this a newstand flipbook like the Adventures of Spider-Man/Adventures of X-Men?

And then there's this -

Night Music 7-A

and

Rudyard Kipling's Red Dog 1-A

Same book?

The indicia in my copy says: Night Music no. 7 (Red Dog no. 1)
Quality. Consistency. Variety. Reliable. Fair. Friendly

That is a bona fide duplicate listing, Howie. It has been discussed previously by the Approvers, but I can't personally remember the outcome of that. There is a "Needs Work" request over the Night Music title. One of the two definitely needs invalidating.

That entire Night Music title has duplicate one-shot titles as well. We need confirmation of each issue, which you've now given us with "Night Music no. 7 (Red Dog no. 1)" telling us it should be Night Music #7, not its own title.

Of course, no one has it listed under Night Music and everyone is selling it under the other title. Wall

Part of the fun of the database is not just that we're always adding new stuff to it and trying to figure out how to do so in sometimes tricky situations, but also that we're constantly finding things that are incorrect and needing to be fixed. Duplicate issues are the worst of those.
