Hi everyone! Let's get down to it. I have a complete base set (1-100) of 1996 marvel masterpieces. I also have the complete gold gallery set. What I'm looking for is the double impact cards. Specifically #1 Bishop/Beast and #3 Rogue/Human Torch. Willing to trade some bronze age fantastic four or avengers comics for them. Or I will buy them! OR BOTH TRADE AND PURCHASE! Must be in great condition! Thanks!!

That alone is awesome. Applause I'm quite envious.

That set is stunningly gorgeous and one I've always wanted. Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell are all-time great fantasy artists (the 2 absolute best, IMO), and to see them paint my favorite Marvel heroes is a real treat.

But they're SOOOOO hard to come by at a decent price.

Completely agree. The 1994 set by Tim and Greg Hildebrandt are also extremely well done. I stumbled across this forum and figured it would be a great place to toss out the info. Once I get #1 & #3 double impact cards I can begin my ultimate goal: getting all cards graded by BGS. It's going to take a LONG time, but a master set graded by BGS at all 9.5 (which is what I will be going for) could be close to priceless and would look undeniably fantastic.

I'm not sure what to look for. Can you supply pics of the cards?

Thanks!

Hey there. I really appreciate you looking! The scans of the master set can be found here: http://spideyscards.m.webs.com/site/webs_64691624/home?url=http%3A%2F%2Fspideyscards.webs.com%2Fapps%2Fphotos%2Falbum%3Falbumid%3D10020008%26no_flash%3D1

#1 Bishop/Beast and #3 Rogue/Human Torch is what I'm looking for. However, I'm open to trade or buy others if you have them. Let me know!

Any chance you'd want to shoot me what you're selling them for, after he takes his pick of them?

If anyone wants to trade any cards for the two I'm looking for I'm up for that too.

I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you. I literally have tens of thousands of cards and it took me a while to go through them all.

Unfortunately, I didn't come across any Marvel Masterpiece cards from 1996. I have 1992-1995 but that's it.

Good luck with your search!
