My sanctum sanctorum, which will be mine 02/27/14!

AND this room here will be my collectors paradise. I look forward to molding it to my will... Mwah-AH-ah-ah!

I'll be sure to post various stages along the way! Can't wait to be reunited with my comics, statues, action figures, books, etc...etc...etc!

OK, just a lil' update. Unpacking is winding down & now I officially have all my comics, statues, & other collectables on-site & I have even started to decorate a lil' (pictures to follow). I went to Lowe's today and dropped $300 on lumber and then Harbor Freight where I dropped another $250 on a couple of power tools I needed to build my (starter) shelving units. Now I need to find the time to build them...

I can't wait to see how that turns out.

When building the shelves, are you going to use a bracket system to hold them up, or tongue and groove? I'm curious to see this awesomeness (cause we know it will be)

Cave Comics
I buy comics so that I can sell comics, to buy more comics.

The base is going to be built like a deck. I'm using four 4x4 posts and putting a 2x12 along the front, sides and rear and then cutting 2x12's and adding them like porch decking for strength/stability. Then I'm using the router to make notches 1" deep in the posts for the shelving to slide into before nailing them. With the top I'm repeating the decking style to support my statues. I'm then going to stain it and add pegboard to the side for my action figures.

Whoa! Sounds epic.
