Was in Nashville recently and made my way to the CCL office and store. The store had every All Star Squadron issue I needed, so I'm happy to start reading the series again. I have orders coming from Comics Castle, BAMF!, ComicVortex, and KirkComics. There goes my tax refund!

MY WANT LIST

I realize your comic got a 9.8 grade from them; it still gets a 0.0 for content from me.

You're not getting a tax refund? Good for you! Those who do are simply getting repayment of an interest-free loan to the federal government. (If you want to lend money to the government, that's your choice, but doing it in a way that doesn't pay interest is just dumb.)

Nice haul, especially considering you got multiple copies of some of those!

I know what you mean! Some of the things I've found in dollar bins in the last few months amaze me: Grimm Fairy Tales #1-10, one guy had 2 copies of Guardians of the Galaxy (2008) #1, New 52 #1's for $2, etc. I'm very envious, though, especially since I just went to a convention today which was pretty much a bust!

Just sold a couple things on eBay, and used the money here at Bamf's.

Filled in a lot of my JSA, All-Star Squadron, and JLA holes. I also got some more Crisis on Infinite Earths Tie-In Issues (1st appearance of The Monitor & 1st appearance of Lyla (Harbinger), among them).

Can't wait to read JLA: The Century War, JLA: Golden Perfect, and JLA: The Obsidian Age.

I also got a JSA story I'm looking forward to that fell under my radar somehow the first time around: Kingdom Coming which starts in the last 2 issues of "Magog" and end in the Justice Society of America Special. Supposedly the events leading to Kingdom Come are starting to unfold and the JSA has to stop it from happening.

Same here! I've gotten some good stuff n my LCS's 3 for $1 box. Guardians of the Galaxy(2008) #1, Cable #75 (Apocalypse: The Twelve), Infinity Gauntlet #1, early Ultimate Spider-Mans, and a lot more! He's got probably got 6 long boxes full, too. I try to go through at least one every time I'm there.

I liked it, thought it dragged on a bit too long though. Never read Kingdom Come, so that might have caused me to lose some impact on the story. Can't beat Alex Ross covers, though!

I realize that these aren't actually "books", but I just purchased both of these old-school, comic book wire display racks for $50 off Craigslist. I have always wanted these for nostalgic reasons.

AWESOME!!! I have looked for old comic racks for YEARS hoping to find something like this. Great find! Whenever I have come across one of these, which is not very often, they want hundreds and hundreds for them. Silly

Two for $50? NICE! I was lucky enough to get one of the old spinners for $75 several years back off Craigslist, but yeah, usually I see them for a couple hundred.

I hear you! I have been seeking these for the past few years. When I do locate them, the seller usually wants a few hundred dollars for them. The Comic Gods have smiled upon me again!

Thanks to West End Comics here on CCL. I filled big holes in my Incredible Hulk run. I also picked up Wolverine 3-5 and 9 (first on-going series) and Captain America 1 (5th series). Thanks Steve.
