I doubt it. Why would they give such a significant win to someone that hasn't really been the best team-player to WWE? I think once the streak is broken (if it is), it will be against someone like Cena, Orton, or Big Show. Someone that has been a consummate WWE guy that works a lot.

Rumor has it Big Show isn't going to renew his contract when it ends this summer. He's supposedly retiring.

I agree. I can't see WWE letting Brock break "the streak". Especially to someone who doesn't deserve to be the guy to break it. Taker should retired after this year's WrestleMania. I also don't think WWE should ever break the streak. They worked so hard to keep it going and alive and mean something. To have Orton or Big Show (both lost to the Taker already at WM) or Cena break it will mean nothing to them since they are already over. Punk would've been the better choice if any. JMO.

I'd agree if he didn't recently walk-out on WWE (not a storyline this time).

But it's to late. I meant last year since they fought then. Won't make the same impact if it took Punk (if he didn't take his ball and went home that is) a second try to defeat Taker at WM.

I'm still Angry about Punk taking off. He was supposed to be coming to my hometown this upcoming friday when WWE comes. Crying

I read this somewhere on prowrestling.com too...hope it's true.

Has anyone notice Rob Van Dam hasn't been around either? I thought he would be around for WrestleMania.

So was it a storyline again? Have we all been duped?

I kind of hope so. I miss the days when wrestling was unpredictable. Maybe this is a return to old form.

I haven't watched it yet, because I was watching the last night of my WWE Network free-trial last night.

But I heard not only did he not show up, but they played his music and Paul Heyman walked out instead. What a big middle-finger to the wrestling fans from WWE.

The angle actually worked and the whole show was very solid

Here's how I see the Bryan story playing out:

Daniel Bryan gets a match at Wrestlemania with Triple H. If he wins that match (and he will), he gets added into the title match later that night. Batista pins Orton to win the belt. The next night, we get to listen to Bryan say that he didn't lose so he deserves another shot. At the next pay per view, Bryan wins the title and will hold it until at least Survivor Series. This will give the Universe what "they all want"Rolling Eyes , Bryan in the title match at Mania (though they will probably cry if he doesn't win at Mania) and him getting a title run of at least 6 months.

When Heyman walked out to Punk's music, I about died laughing. It was a great heel thing to do and really drew some heat. This is making me think that the whole CM Punk deal is some elaborate work because I don't think they would encourage fans to "hijack" the show and chant for CM Punk. If it wasn't a work, I could see them doing something similar to when Stone Cold walked off and have McMahon basically break character and tell everyone that he quit on them.

With some rumors going around this is the one I like best...

Bryan vs Triple H with the stipulation that if Bryan wins the match, he gets a title shot at the next PPV. Can't remember the stipulation if Hunter wins...jobber?

But I do like the idea of Bryan headlining WrestleMania instead because the main event for it really does suck. Two "heels" going at it? I don't think anyone really cares for either Orton or Batista.

I thought Heyman coming out was the best thing that WWE can do. I guess Punk was never going to come (rumor has it there was a script for Punk returning if he did show). At least Heyman did Punk some kind of justice ("he deserves louder then that"...at least I think that's what he said...lol).

The only problem I have with this entire Daniel Bryan scenario is that he is never allowed to stand tall over Triple H. I was talking with some other friends about this and someone said that they didn't think Austin would be as over as he was if Vince always got the better of him and I have to agree with that. The guy never gets to end raw with Triple H on the ground its always been The Authority standing over Bryan.

The spirits are speaking to me and telling this great steed of a warrior to not linger with the dead! Oh no! For I must strike like lightning, and proceed with caution! For who knows what snares and traps lie ahead as I use my great warrior strength to prevail in epic victory. For today is that day. The day long foretold in times past by the great warrior ancestors. They told ME! I was the chosen one! And before my very being it was revealed when and where I shall take hold of this great prize that lies in the darkness before my battle-hardened eyes! NOW IS THE TIME!

Translation:
The new WWE Ultimate Warrior DVD is out! I've got to get this one!

Ultimate Warrior was my first favorite wrestler as a child.

The Ultimate Warrior passes away at 54

Just watched him, like minutes ago on my DVR on the Hall of Fame Ceremony. Crazy.

He was the first pro-wrestler I was fan of as a kid.
