I do know you can add Sinestro to the list of new on-goings.

Yep. April sees the launch of 5 new titles, Sinestro, Secret Origins, Justice League United (with a #0 issue), Aquaman & the Others, and Batman Eternal (a weekly book).

And DC just announced the cancellation of 6 more titles in April. Along with the end of Justice League America (which we already knew was being rebooted as Justice League United), DC has also announced the following titles will be ending:

Nightwing, at issue #30
Superman Unchained, at issue #9
StormWatch, at issue #30
Suicide Squad, at issue #30
Teen Titans, at issue #30

Very surprised be some of these. Not so much by StormWatch... the book's been terrible since Starlin rebooted it. But I thought the rest were doing ok. I find myself curious what titles will be replacing them.

So... a couple of these books are not quite as cancelled as I thought. DC has announced that it will be relaunching Teen Titans and Suicide Squad with new #1s in July.

Suicide Squad will feature Waller, Deadshot, Harley, Deathstroke, Black Manta, and Joker's Daughter from the looks of it.

Teen Titans will star Red Robin, Wonder Girl, Bunker, Raven, and Beast Boy, and feature artwork by Ken Rocafort (which by itself will make me pick up the book).

Announced on Bleeding Cool today that DC is cancelling Birds of Prey, Batwing and All-Star Western, as of issue #34. Harley Quinn will be going bi-monthly.

Surprised Batwing and Birds Of Prey lasted this long. Harley Quinn's book is horrid and going bi monthly wont help the future of a book that's as bad as it is. Maybe its just me but I always find it hard to hold interest in any title that's bi monthly. I always forget whats going on in the story.

Man, I didn't even know either Marvel or DC still published any bi-monthly books. I thought that was a back-in-the-day thing.

Birds of Prey was actually a decent read, imo. And I've been enjoying Harley Quinn.

Marvel has been putting out a few bi-monthly books. Superior Spider-Man, for one. Also at least 1 of the X-Men books was bi-monthly for a while.

DC's currently doing two weekly books, to say nothing of bi-monthly. They're doing quad-monthly. LOL.

There's a third one coming, based on Earth 2.

CBR is now stating that, in addition to the 3 I mentioned a little bit ago, Superboy and both Trinity of Sin: Phantom Stranger and Trinity of Sin: Pandora are also done.

This leaves 21 of the "new" 52 still in publication after August.

My bad. I was thinking bi-monthly meant released every two months instead of twice a month. Or am I still correct in thinking that released twice a month is bi weekly?

No you're right. Bi-monthly is every two months, Bi-weekly is every two weeks.

No you're right. Bi-monthly is every two months, Bi-weekly is every two weeks.

Oddly, bi-monthly can mean both.

From merriam-webster.com:

1: occurring every two months
2: occurring twice a month

In this case it means the latter. Harley Quinn is shipping twice a month starting in August. PaperFilms (aka Jimmy P & Justin Gray and others) confirmed that on their Facebook page this morning.

That's really strange that it means both. What kind of sense does that make? lol

Also, I'm not on board with Harley Quinn at all. I've tried so hard because Jimmy P is one of my favorite writes currently, but every issue gets harder and harder to read. Now that it will be coming out twice a month, I'm ditching it.

That's some fuzzy math.lol How does 3 titles, even if they are weekly, count as 4 titles? Then one title twice a month counts as two titles? Sometimes I just don't get comic book companies.

Actually, it's Superman Doomed #2 that doesn't count. It doesn't carry the New 52 logo.

Multiversity doesn't count, as it is more meta than just a New 52 title. Morrison's concept is a multiverse that INCLUDES the New 52 and much, much more.

I also think it's a miniseries. And that they'll let Morrison do whatever he wants. ;)
