I believe in the comics she projected herself back into her younger body. Maybe as she ages her powers increase/grow/"mutate"?

It's been a long time since I read the comic story. So I really didn't remember that.

These 2 pages show how Kitty (Kate) Pryde traveled back in time.

It looks like Rachel Summers was the one who sent her back.

The countdown to 1,000 Hero Ratings has begun!

95 to go

I have been working on something exciting to give back to the Incredible CCL Community that has treated me so well these past few years. When I hit the 1,000 Hero threshold I will make an announcement that will leave you flush with anticipation! I have been dropping hints and here is another clue: What do you get when you take the 4th word of a 3 issue Marvel mini-series from 1982 and mash it with an annual Spring event that began 20 years later?

So she didn't have time-travel powers in the comics. Rachel sent her back. The Phoenix having that kind of power is believable.

Just rewatched this movie tonight. Wow. So good. I also watched GOTG plus two Daredevil episodes on Netflix. I am on Marvel overload and I am happy.

(referring to an original comic book piece) This is a art gallery my friend and THIS is a piece of art.

I have now watched this movie three times.

The 1st time when it got to the end I didn't remember seeing Stan Lee so the 2nd time I was trying to watch for him specifically but things were going on around me and I didn't see parts of it so I thought might have missed him.

Saw it again a couple days again and paid close attention - still no sign of Stan. Am I oblivious or was he not in the movie? He's been in pretty much all of them recently, right?

He's not in it. I remember reading a news item where he decided to opt out because the shooting schedule conflicted with attending a comic convention. Said he would rather spend time with the fans. Or,because Stan makes a boatload more money signing books at a convention than he could possibly make doing a movie cameo. So take your pick.
