There's a part in the movie, when Star-Lord says he has part of a plan. Only 12% of a plan.

Groot says "I AM GROOT" (naturally).

Rocket turns to Groot and replies with “So what it’s better than 11%, what the hell does that have to do with anything?”

D'oh Now I get it. Ssssslloooowwwwww....Loser Laughing

The countdown to 1,000 Hero Ratings has begun!

70 to go

I have been working on something exciting to give back to the Incredible CCL Community that has treated me so well these past few years. When I hit the 1,000 Hero threshold I will make an announcement that will leave you flush with anticipation! I have been dropping hints and here is another clue: What do you get when you take the 4th word of a 3 issue Marvel mini-series from 1982 and mash it with an annual Spring event that began 20 years later?

I have a hard time saying that any particular thing about this movie is "the best part" because the whole movie is "The Best Part".

Having stated that, I have to say that the interaction between Rocket and Groot was THE BEST PART!

I can't wait to see it again, and I don't say that about too many movies.

2017 is a long ways away...Drooling

When GotG 2 drops in 2017 there will be additional characters appearing both as villains and new team members.

Who do you think will be represented and who do you want to show up?

Here's my short list:

Adam Warlock
It has already been established that his cocoon is in the Collector's menagerie and he is a long time Thanos adversary so he's a pretty obvious choice.

Moondragon
The daughter of Drax the Destroyer and associate of the Guardians. Also has lots of history with Thanos.

Star Fox
The brother of Thanos and an Avenger to boot. Plus, someone has to be Peter Quill's father, who better than the Lothario of the spaceways?

Nova
The Nova Corps figured prominently in the first movie, it's conceivable that a Centurion could be assigned to the GotG. Richard Rider, perhaps?

Quasar
A long shot but eminently possible. Either the Wendall Vaughn version or the Phylla-Vell incarnation could be worked in.

Bug
Real long shot. This would be a fantastic way to introduce the Microverse and he would fit in well with the comedy aspect. >tik<

As far as villains go I think these would be intriguing choices:

The Blood Brothers
Known lackeys of Thanos.

Korvac
Maybe a little too powerful to be a thrall of Thanos but Michael Korvac and his minions have encountered the Guardians before.

Magus
The evil future self of Adam Warlock. If Adam appears it's not too much of a stretch to envision the Magus around.

Super-Skrull
The Kree have been established, why not the Skrull's? Who better than Kl'rt to represent this warrior race?

The Elders of the Universe
We already have the Collector, how about seeing his cosmic siblings like the Grandmaster, Contemplator, Champion, Gardener, Runner, etc.?

Who else would you like to see?

No Captain Mar-Vell in your list? He was Thanos' first archnemesis.

Bought my dad Gaurdians Of The Galaxy for Christmas. The guy doesn't go to the movies. So I bring the movies to him. The guys in the family ended up watching it on Christmas Day. The girls didn't really have any interest in watching. Lol. Everybody watching were glued to the TV especially my brother and my nephews. Forgot about some of the adult humor. The part when Gamora said to Peter Quill that his ship was filthy and he replied that if Gamora had a blacklight that she would discover a Jackson Pollock painting. Funny stuff. Great movie.
