Hello All. My name is Bobb I've been reading comics since I used them to learn to read. I'm 51 now, so I've lived through over 40 years of comic book changes. When I was 16 I started dealing comics at conventions around Texas. I've worked at one comics shop for 4 years, and when I became disabled with multiple Sclerosis I returned to help out three days a week for another 14 years. I now help out on New Comics, and other times if needed at the Comic Shop I moved my comics subscription when the other store closed. Not sure if I'm gonna open a store here. I am now using three comic inventory programs. (ComicBase, Collecterz Comic Collector, and now Comic Collector Live.) Each offer different things. It may seem silly, but i find it works as ComicBase gives me High Definition covers when the send me a Blu-ray every quarter. Collectorz offer ax port to my Android,(I have both a phone a tablet.) I have over 20,000 comics. If that seems small for reading/collecting over 45 years my dad taught me something years ago. I take those books I now have in collected form, or I've read and have no plans to reread them again. I then give a DrawerBox or two to the local Children's Hospital, and a;so do the same at the local disAbled Vets clinic. Probably more than anyone wants to know. Hellooo everyone, I'm Rhi and relatively new to comics. Been collecting for almost a year after reading the Steph Brown Batgirl and finally reading Buffy season 8, which then lead to season 9. I'm loving the new 52 Batwoman and Supergirl. I live in Australia and although there are quite a few good comic stores in my area they are all extremely overpriced when it comes to back issues. I'm trying to complete my Buffy stuff but all stores are asking $7-10 an issue. So when I saw the great prices on this site I knew I had to join up, even with international shipping it'll work out cheaper  So if anyne knows of some Australian sellers or any that offer great international service, let me know. Looking forward to becoming an active member of this community

There was a point in time when comicscastle had only been collecting for a year too. It was a wee while ago right enough but everybody starts somewhere. I hope you continue to enjoy comics for years to come.

I'd much rather have a single issue collection especially since I only need 9 more for Buffy. The rest are just appearance issues for Batwoman and some TMNT stuff from the 80's and 90's which i dont think were put into a TPB, thanks for the tip though

Hi everyone, I just joined (obviously). I am happy to find a place to catalog my comics in an organized manner rather then on a spread sheet. I have been a Batman fan since I was 2 years old and I am just as obsessed as a 2 year old would be I guess. My room is littered in batman. Even though I love the series I do collect other things. I also collect Sandman and other Neil Gaimen works. I mainly have interest in Vertigo and DC published works. Marvel and I don't get along so well most of the times. Jam changed it for me after I requested it. Something went wrong with the password junk and I couldn't log in as DrFate or Ghost so I reregistered as Ghost_Rider who is my favorite Marvel character.

Have him fix it by putting an underscore between "The" and "Ghost" then reset your password. And on a side note, I'd refrain from messing around too much with those admin settings. The forum is tied to the market stuff in certain ways that you guys could inadvertantly mess stuff up. If you had a seller account, renaming your forum account like that would certainly have caused a break in the way you upload titles and stuff to sell.

I wanted to change it because I chose the name DrFate because he was my wife's favorite character in the JL show. Its hard for me to go by that name anymore.
