Picked up the Detolfs on Monday and got them all put together, positioned at the rear of our home theatre, and cleaned up:   Now I just have to sort through, and clean/dust hundreds of Transformers and figure out how to get them to all fit... Also need to figure out a way to conceal the wires for the lights better.

I think I just made a mess in my chair. Those are beautiful cabinets. I hate to pry, but were they expensive? Can't wait to see how your collection looks, Xy. And if you have any left-overs you don't need, let me know.

more than they were when I first found out about 'em.... $65 each (still pretty damn cheap!) plus another $10 for each light kit. they're freakin' heavy too

I started digging them out today and decided to start with the Beast Wars and Beast Machines figures. Moved OpOp from the top of my desk to the display case. I dug through 1 box and managed to only find Predacons and Vehicons... On the upper shelf we've got Protoform X (a.k.a. Rampage), Strika, Inferno ( BUUURRRRRNNNNN!!!!!), Obsidian, and Transmetal Tarantulas.  On the lower shelf we find QuickStrike, Transmetal Megs, Tankor and 2 drones, Thrust and 2 drones, and Beast Machines Megatron (hiding behind Thrust) OpOp and Transmetal Dinobot  It's becoming pretty clear that these 2 display cases are not going to be anywhere near big enough for my collection....  2 more would be sweet, but I don't know where I'd put them and the better half would be less than "pleased"... Only 4 more boxes to sort through! I'll do the Beasts first, then RiD as that's the only other collection I have that's "complete" (I only collected toys for characters that actually appeared on the shows). After that it's a random assortment of various series which I purchased based on how cool I thought the toy was!

yeah, but Unicron still towers over him.... I don't think Uni will fit in the case, same for the Armada/Energon/Cybertron/whatver Starscream with the crown.

hhmmm... over a year since an update. sadly there's been no change in the display cases other than I unpacked my seekers and threw them on one of the shelves with MP Thunder Cracker. But MP Skywarp has arrived so it's time for some organizing methinks.
