Thought this was a pretty cool article, and wanted to share.
It's about the history of the portrayal of Batman in movies, on T.V.. and in cartoons. It starts with the 1940s Batman serial, and ends with the Christopher Nolan Trilogy:

So where's Part 2 already? They have yet to mention the greatest portrayal of Batman.
That of Kevin Conroy, who's played the character longer than anyone in history.

It could be just that I was 10 or 11 when the first Tim Burton Batman came out and it imprinted on me but as cool as other interpretations of him are, the 1988 version of Batman in comics and film will always be the best.
