I collect Marvel and DC Comics mainly from the 80s to currents. I also dabble in licensed titles like Star Trek comics, video game tie-ins, etc. And I've recently started going back to the 70s era for the awesome Marvel cosmic scene at the time. The titles/books I particularly focus on in my collection are JLA, JSA, Green Lantern & Green Lantern Corps, Superman, Avengers, Spider-Man, and Venom. I'm also a sucker for crossover events. Some of the prized issues in my collection (CCL scans): Amazing Spider-Man #252: Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars #8: Web of Spider-Man #1: Crisis on Infinite Earths #: Shazam! #1: Some pics of my man-cave:

By my CCL software's count, I'm at about 4,000 issues. But none of them are key Silver Age or Golden Age issues or anything. It's pretty much mid-70s to current only. I used to think I had an awesome collection, until I saw some of the collections here. Wait until you see some of the issues Oakman has, wow.
