I collect a little of everything. Marvel and DC are my two main companies for my monthlies. Back issue wise I'm working on a complete Incredible Hulk set. Hulk has always been my favorite. Last year I started reading Savage Hawkman in the New 52 and really liked it. So I've been chasing after completeing sets of Hawkman as well. I'd like to start picking up some key Gold and Silver Age books. But the prices for decent copies keep me from pulling the trigger.

This is just a broad question but what are some great buys you have gotten at comic con. It could either be a comic of great value or a comic you really like. I'm asking this because i'm most likely going to Boston Comic con in August and i'm just wondering what to look for.

I was bored today so I counted my comics. I have about 325 single issue comics not including digests, paperbacks, or hardcovers. Compared to everyone out there this is like maybe 1% of peoples collections. I was wondering how many comics you guys have.

yeah, unfortunatly i'm near the end and the few issues I need are out of reach at this time but i'm realistic and it has taken 3 years to accumulate this much plus others like spider woman 1 -50 and alpha flight first series plus a few assorted batmans and complete spectacular spider man run.i also just finished silver age metal men and only need atom 1 to finish silver age atom.i'm working on john carter warlord of mars from the 70s and only need about 10 more for that.i'm not starting anymore new sets because I have 12 full longbox's in the house now plus the few newer issues I pick up now.

I'll be mentioning different things each day on my blog leading up to Christmas day. Not actually a comic book, but comic book related, would be my Captain Action doll that I got for Christmas in '67. Too bad I could never get the Batman costume to go with it. And too bad my parents threw it out when I was away at university. I'll be getting to that in a couple of weeks, I think.
Here's the link to that page, in the meantime:

Anything Transformers and Spiderman related. Some X-Men and X-Force. Daredevil and Fantastic Four. Some Batman too. Most of it changes month to month.
