What's the best line you've ever read in a Batman comic? This can be an internal
monologue or actual dialogue, anything. I myself don't have an all-time favorite
but I do love the line from Year One (after he has crashed the party about halfway
through) "Ladies. Gentlemen. You have eaten well. You've eaten Gotham's wealth.
It's spirit. Your feast is nearly over. From this moment on-none of you are safe."

Joker, there's nothing wrong with you that I can't fix...with my hands. Remember what that was from?

Dark Knight returns? But, my gut is telling me this line is actually from a Crisis on Infinite Earths issue. Am I right on either one? My first thoughts were Killing Joke or R.I.P. but Morrison would never write a line like that and Killing Joke was far too serious for a one liner.

For me the best line isn't a quote but the tag line in ads for Batman: The Killing Joke. It read: "Beyond good and bad, there is evil. Beyond evil there is insanity. Beyond insanity, there is... The Joker."

"I made a promise on the grave of my parents that I would rid this city of the evil that took their lives. By day, I am Bruce Wayne, billionaire philanthropist. At night, criminals, a cowardly and superstitious lot, call me... Batman."
I wear a mask. And that mask, it's not to hide who I am, but to create what I am.

"Now, get out of my cave"
from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Strikes Again. Not my one of my favourite BatBooks to be honest. But one of my favourite lines. Delivered just after handing Superman a beating.

"It's hot. But, not as hot as the night Johnny Viti got married." (from the Long Halloween) is one my favorites and I use it frequently in hot summer days.

From the Dark Knight Returns after beating Superman: "We could have changed the world…now…look at us…I've become a political liability…and…you…you're a joke. I want you to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who beat you." Absolutely love the delivery of this line....so many gems in Millers Batman canon but I think this one is my favorite.
Madness is like gravity...all you need is a little push!

It's not a Batman comic, but it is Batman. In Infinite Crisis #6, to Booster Gold: "Booster. You have no idea how to talk to kids." It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.Xylob's Most Wanted: G.I.Joe Special Missions TPB 2 Tales from the Transformers Beast Wars: Critical Mass Transformers: Timelines #3 - either cover, no preference. Problems with CCL? 615-264-4747 Offices are open M-F 8am-5pm Central Time. You can also e-mail the Chief Brand Officer directly to try to resolve questions/stuff at steve@golocomedia.com for help with password resets, general customer service questions, store order resolution, credit card store updating, questions about comic books and CCL, etc...
