I am currently sitting at 45 long boxes stuffed. I am currently updating my inventory with grades and everything. I should have an exact count soon.

Are you a private collector or a store? I do not sell, I am strictly a collector.

I'm a private collector and I do not sell books at all.I do however try to acquire as many keys as I can.

According to my CCL Software:
-Individual Issues - 4,214
-Graphic Novels/Trade Paperbacks - 23
-Hardcovers - 9
All bagged and boarded and in long-boxes.
They're mostly Marvel, DC, early-to-mid 90s Image, and Star Trek comics dating from the mid-70s to current.
I'd include my comic cards in that count, but I really have no idea how many I have since CCL's software isn't nearly as complete on the trading cards as they are on the comics.
And I'm a collector, not a shop owner or online dealer.

I'm way to lazy to count and find out.
Let's just say my collection takes up an entire room in my house and I'm out of space even then.I'm a private collector.A large chunk of my collection consists of huge runs of Batman, Detective Comics, Amazing Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men, Conan (both Marvel and Dark Horse),entire run of X-Force (all vols), Green Lantern (vol 1,3),X-Men (90s vol),Darkness (complete collection all vols, mins and one shots). Then there is everything else.

I know! Do you measure the space between those boxes to make sure they are all perfect?

I'm currently sitting on approximately 20 long boxes, 4 half boxes and +/- 100 books waiting to be filed. So at a guess I'd say just over 5K books.

Thats a lot!
I have about 7-ish long boxes.
I have complete Defenders-1971 (incl annual, Marvel feature and Giant-sizes) which is not in a long box, but a different box, to accamodate some graded slabs.
Similar thing for my complete Silver Surfer(1987 series).
And then I have a little nest egg of maybe 50-75 comics set aside in another box for my daughter when she is old enough &/or interested, else they'll likely go to a nephew.
A few months back my collection was doubly as large, but I parted with 1/2 my collection.
