During the Normandy invasion on D-Day, a group of soldiers lose their way when they come under heavy fire from the enemy. In an effort to save them from certain death, Sgt Jackson leads his men into a cave that burrows deep into the countryside, but it hides a deadly secret – the ‘Devils Children’.

Living in the caves and sewers for almost three years, the children, a bi-product of a rejected Nazi experiment - have adapted to the darkness, turning it into the pits of hell.

Unable to retreat, the soldiers press forward looking for an escape route from the enemy defenders, when they are attacked by the killer kids – who feed on humans.

Beet, Tiny, O’Hanlon and Doc, a medic hooked on his own morphine – fight their way through the tunnels in almost total darkness. Under pressure, they start to reveal their own secrets and those of Jackson’s infantry.

Can Jackson hold it together, keeping the men alive long enough to see the sun rise again?
