Hi everyone,
I have been reading and collecting comics since 1978, mostly UK Marvel, the UK War comics (Battle, Warlord) and of course 2000 AD. After the British military moved out, I had to turn to the German Marvel & DC comics until finally in the early 90s, I was able to purchase US comics. Since then I have stuck mostly with Marvel and DC but for the last ten years, I have branched out to Dark horse (Star Wars, Conan, Hellboy & Buffy), IDW etc. So now to my question, how large is your collection??
Mine currently stands at just over 17.500 US comics.

Mine's well over 10 times larger than yours. It takes up two bedrooms, a basement, a garage & a storage unit. Best guess is over 1000 long boxes. I've been collecting since 1957 (yes, I'm old).

a meager 5400 or so... although if you were to ask my wife I'm sure her answer would be "too big". It doesn't matter if it's 50 Cents or 50 Dollars - if you list it as NM it better be NM.Xylob's Most Wanted: G.I.Joe Special Missions TPB 2 Tales from the Transformers Beast Wars: Critical Mass Transformers: Timelines #3 - either cover, no preference. Problems with CCL? 615-264-4747 Offices are open M-F 8am-5pm Central Time. Well the only way I actually know how much comics I have, is of course through Comic Collector live. It took me two days to input my comics and now I can actually look at my comics without going through my long boxes

I'm actually sitting at just under 650 books plus a few graphic novels. I started collecting again at the end of 2011 after 18-20 years and my previous collection had been lost in a move.

I have around 12,000 regular comics (not counting graphic novels, trade paperbacks, or square bound comics). I'd have a lot more if I didn't also collect action figures, diecast, and sports stuff.

Apparently my parents didn't value the books as much as I did. After years of shock therapy I can now live amongst the normal folk.

I meant it looks like you took a break from collecting in the early 90's, when print runs and speculation got out of hand. After I fell for the New Mutants #100 hype (bought 10 issues ), I left. If only I bought 10 issues of #98 instead of 2

Lol, to most of my family and friends, I have a gigantic collection. Compared to most of the folks in this thread, I'll look like a newbie collector, lol. I have just under 2,400 comics.

I assume there has to be groupies to go along with that, no?

At my age I'm just happy to not have to go to the bathroom every hour or two due to high blood sugar and to not need to wear Depends (yet).
