Anyone else reading this? I've been following it from the beginning. It's not a spectacular read, but it's not bad, either. Certainly better than most of the other stuff going on the Superman books post New-52. But I have a big problem with part of the plot: H'El is building a time machine that uses energy from our yellow sun to send himself back into the past and save Krypton before it explodes. Supergirl, who is old enough to remember Krypton and her family (unlike Superman who came here as a baby), is helping H'El. Superman, Superboy, and the Justice League are trying to stop him because drawing energy from the sun will destroy it and in the process kill everyone on Earth. While Superman, Superboy, and the JLA are battling H'El and Supergirl; H'El points out that if he goes back in time and stops Krypton from exploding, then the sun and everyone on Earth will be fine because he will have never left Krypton to build the time machine. Yet, the JLA, Superman, and Superboy continue to battle him and try to stop him...WHY?! Why wouldn't the JLA and especially Superman not want to save an entire planet? It seems they're just too stubborn to stop at this point. ***CHECK OUT MY COMIC TRADING LIST, CLICK HERE******TRADE VIDEO GAMES WITH ME, CLICK HERE******TRADE COMIC CARDS WITH ME, CLICK HERE***Make sure that you read and understand the forum rules here

Theory time! IF H'el did complete his machine and went back in time, and sun destroys itself and the New 52's version of Earth in that separate universe (and we cant have that can we ?) and MAYBE create another version of that universe where (if successful) Kal-El, Kara, and H'el wouldnt have to leave (leaving them in the background of the new 52), thus saving the Earth from exploding because H'el would have never left to create the machine and no one would know the difference. So it would be a planet for a planet in SOME time or universe, weather H'el remembers or not, a planet dying for another to have a SHOT at living. Whether or not everything on Earth happens exactly the same as before doesnt matter because one version of the New 52's Earth exploded to give that tangent universe's Krypton a chance. I don't think it even needs to be thought of that complicatedly lol. If H'el's machine destroys the Earth but doesn't propel him back in time to save Krypton, then all he did was destroy Earth. That makes it one hell of a gamble for the JL to just sit back and let him carry on.

I finished reading this series and the reason why Supergirl changed sides annoys me. H'el told her, "I'm going to blow up the sun and kill everyone on the Earth, but by going back in time, it will never happen." She buys into that. Later she is, "You said you were taking extra energy, not destroying the Earth, I can't let you do that." Then he tries to reaffirm what he already said and that she agreed with.
