My PC had a virus a while back, so I took it to a guy thinking he would expunge the virus. Well, I went back the next day to pick it up and found out he just completely wiped it clean. So, I've finally bought/reinstalled the software and am going to begin the task of cataloging my entire collection once again (no, I didn't save to a flash drive or anything like that). Laughing

I'm about 1/3 of the way through my singles. Luckily I'm on vacation this week!

Good luck! I run a back up at least once a month. Totally saved my bacon when the last computer died.

Hey guys, quick question. What size flash drive should I buy to store my back up data on for my books? 8GB? Bigger?

Is that the Mid Ten Media folder or the CCL Backup file?

The back up file. That's all you need to save.

When I go into my downloads folder, thee "back up" file says around 70,000kb, but I still have 7 more boxes of comics, and a few trades left to go too.

That's only 7/10 of one megabite, so you really don't need a huge back up for CCL. Of course you might also want to back up personal photos & documents as well as music & videos that you have downloaded. The more space these items take up the more back up space you will need, but as far as CCL is concerned you don't need much.

Considering how cheap memory sticks can be found for ( good quality ones too) there's really no reason to get a small one. 16 GB is a good size. That way you can save other files like Pat said. I also recommend saving any cover scans you have so you don't have to rescan your issues.
