So this Sunday my wife and I are marking 12 years of marriage. Before I give her her actual presents and stuff, I was thinking of doing a gag gift to start things off--a gift-wrapped package of a dozen eggs (instead of a dozen roses) to mark our dozen years of marriage. Personally, I think it's hilarious. She may think so, too, but it could easily backfire on me ("you think you laid an egg when you married me! *sob sob*"). On the other hand, this is my only chance at this gag.

What do you all think--is it suicide, or not?

I would have something nice planned right after it as a backup. On the 12h you're probably safe, if it were the 25th she might haul off & smack you.

Not knowing your wife's sense of humor it's hard to say how she will react but I think it is absolutely hilarious!

Plus you had better have a kick-@$$ set of backup gifts!

The countdown to 1,000 Hero Ratings has begun!

98 to go

I have been working on something exciting to give back to the Incredible CCL Community that has treated me so well these past few years. When I hit the 1,000 Hero threshold I will make an announcement that will leave you flush with anticipation! I have been dropping hints and here is another clue: What do you get when you take the 4th word of a 3 issue Marvel mini-series from 1982 and mash it with an annual Spring event that began 20 years later?

Can't decide whether you should give her hard boiled ones or not. If she throws them at you, raw will make a mess and hard boiled will just hurt!

Not knowing your wife, it's hard to say. Some women would get a kick out of something like that. Speaking for myself, it's not a joke I'd appreciate.

Like most have mentioned, not knowing your wife, it's hard to say. But just on the outset, I would say most assuredly not.

Women love weddings and they love anniversaries. They want them to special, not funny.

How were the eggs? Scrambled? Poached?

Will there be a thirteenth anniversary?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I guess we have our answer.

He's dead...or covered in eggs.

Long Live Thundercron!

And eggs!

Still Alive!

After hearing the sole female's response here, I decided against it. I took her to a ridiculously expensive restaurant I couldn't afford and told her my original idea. She actually liked it! She also told me Olive Garden would have sufficed. Dang it....overshot that a little, I suppose.

In other news, one of the things she bought me were the boxed sets of seasons one through three of the old Incredible Hulk tv show. And they were on sale at Best Buy for $10 each, so it was like a bonus gift on top of the regular gift!
